How to use these Daily Routine flashcards

• Vocabulary introduction: Present each card, model the

  action, and have students repeat in a full sentence —

  "I eat breakfast", "She brushes her teeth."

• Daily schedule: Arrange cards in order of a typical

  morning or evening routine and practise sequencing

  words — first, then, next, after that, finally.

• TPR activities: Students mime each action as you hold

  up the card — great for younger learners and

  kinesthetic practice.

• Speaking and dialogues: Pair work — "What do you do

  in the morning?" "I wake up, wash my face and eat

  breakfast."

• Grammar focus: Present simple with I/he/she, adverbs

  of frequency (always, usually, never), and telling

  time connected to routines.

• Writing practice: Students write sentences using each

  verb, copy the word, or complete gap-fill activities

  such as "She ___ her teeth every morning."

• Games: Memory matching, charades, ordering races —

  place cards in the correct order of the day.

• Assessment: Show a card, students say or write the

  correct verb — quick and easy exit ticket activity.
