How to use these Opposites flashcards

• Vocabulary introduction: Present each pair together,

  point to each card and say the word — "This is big.

  This is small. Big — small, they are opposites!"

• Sorting activity: Mix all cards and have students

  match each word to its opposite — great for group

  or pair work.

• TPR activities: Students act out the opposites —

  stand tall, crouch short, move fast, move slow.

• Speaking and dialogues: Compare two objects using
